HUMMUS

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 5 mins | Total Time: 10 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and dried

  • 1 1/2 - 2 lemons, more to taste

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp pepper

  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

  • 2 - 4 tbsp ice cold water, more as needed

  • 2 tsp garlic, more to taste 

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp oilive oil

  • tahini, amount varies based on desired consistency 

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and dry chickpeas.​

  2. Add chickpeas to food processor.

  3. Pulse till slightly blended.

  4. Slowly add lemon juice, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, water, and olive oil.

  5. Blend until desired consistency.

  6. Plate or serve in bowl.

  7. Garnish with desired toppings: lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, or even the Good Bean Snack's dry chickpeas for a great crunch!

Notes:

*The best thing about this recipe is you can cater to your own preferences! If you want a smoother consistency, add more tahini. If you want more of a lemony taste, add more lemon... ect.
