CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients:
2 slices of challah
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk (I used almond)
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp butter (I used vegan butter)
powder sugar
peanut butter
nutella
Directions:
In a bowl, whisk egg, milk and vanilla extract.
On a plate, combine sugar and cinnamon.
Dip challah slice into the egg mixture. Generously drench both sides..
Once drenched, place slice onto the sugar and cinnamon. Coat both sides.
Over medium to high heat, add butter to a large skillet.
Add challah to skillet.
Let cook for about 3 minutes or until golden brown, then flip and let cook for another 3 minutes.
Once cooked, plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with peanut butter and nutella.
