TACO BOWL

Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 25 mins | Total Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of ground meat (I used turkey)

  • I box of rice (I used Rice a Roni Spanish Rice)

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato

  • 1 taco seasoning package (I used Taco Bell’s Mild Taco Seasoning Mix)

  • 3/4 cup water

  • romaine lettuce

  • guac

  • cheese

  • cilantro

Directions:

  1. In a pot, cook rice according to package.

  2. In a large skillet, brown meat (cook meat until it is no longer pink) over high heat.

  3. Once cooked, add taco seasoning package, 3/4 cup of water, and stir.

  4. Bring to boil and then let simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.

  5. Chop onion and tomato.

  6. In a bowl, add your base: lettuce.

  7. Then top lettuce with your taco meat and desired toppings (onions, rice, guac, tomatoes, and cilantro).

  8. Enjoy!

Notes:

* you can use any type of rice!
